Art Duy is the visionary behind STR Groceries, a division of Co-Op Shopper LLC, where he serves as owner, founder, and app developer. With over 35 years as a California and Utah general contractor, Art’s career took a new direction after the 2008 recession, leading him to explore opportunities in technology and grocery delivery.​
Art initially honed his skills in web development while building websites for his business, which eventually inspired the creation of Shopper Microsites. Co-Op Shopper launched its Costco shopping platform in 2018, laying the groundwork for STR Groceries. The concept for a dedicated grocery delivery service emerged during Art’s time working at Costco as a marketer and speaking with pro shoppers. His goal with STR Groceries was to offer a more comprehensive and affordable platform than what is available through large tech companies.
